Each year, the Sundance Institute and BMI host a Composers Lab at the Sundance Resort in Utah. During their three weeks on the mountain, the Lab's six Fellows are coached by prominent film composers as they collaborate with filmmakers from the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program and the Sundance Institute Documentary Program.
